Friday's Fabulous Find.... HOOYAH...

You guys are amazing -- after reading through your comments on yesterday's post, I am very excited and VERY motivated! What I have noticed with myself is that I respond very well to extreme gruelling exercise that is led by really bossy personal trainers. So, yesterday after talking to a friend, she recommended this group that is local and they whip you into shape, not the cute way but the old fashioned military way.

ENTER: The SEAL Physical Training Camp. And by the way, I don't mean seal as in the water gliding mammal, or the hunky man who happens to be married to Heidi Klum. I mean SEAL as in Navy Seals. These group of guys are ex-military commando, tough, drill sergeants!!! The first thought in my head is.... Sign me up please!! They have a 2 week, 5 days a week, daily hour and a half long programs begining at 5am and takes you literally through the sand, mud, and up the hill and back!! When I found them HERE, I was beaming. The next class is September 13th, so that gives me plenty of time to get a routine going so I can toughen up and say my HOOYAHS come September!!

have you guys ever tried any classes similar to this?

Have a GREAT weekend and enjoy the sun!!!

Your Help Is Needed....

Dear Bloggy Friends,

I need your help! Today, I am feeling really great! I have been back on my exercise routine for the last four days ***I know, I know - four days, that's it!! but, that's a great accomplishment for this blogger*** consistently and for me that's one heck of a feat. With work, life, and everything else, it remains increasingly hard to consistently make time for myself to hit the gym.

My goal is that I will continue doing my gym routine regularly, and of course it will get better and fall into place. My exercise of choice is running. I love to run, except running is not like any other sport. It takes conditioning, control and endurance to run for miles. These things all contrary to "not" running consistently. When I stop running for weeks, let alone months, it's as if I am back at square one! My sister wants us to run a half a marathon in October and I fully intend to do so.

So, this is why I need your help! What secrets/ strategies/motivators do you use to stay the course? I would love to hear your thoughts!

And the Winner of Giveaway No. 1 Is....

The At-Home Pedicure Guide 2010

So, after posting the Spa giveaway and reading your wonderful comments, I thought I would share with you a few tricks that I use to get my spa visit at home. While we all know that getting a pedicure is something we could do until the moon merges with the sun, it surely can get expensive. Well, at least until you win the $125 spa giveaway here!! You still have time to ENTER

I use Fresh's Brown Sugar Body Polish to start off. After you you've soaked your feet, then lather it up with this yummy goodness before using a foot buffer.

My fave buffer is the Soap & Glory utterly fantastic foot buffer that comes with three different filing heads, including a portable file for in between the toes. Once I'm done scrubbing, "yes, really - I scrub" was my feet off.

Then, I use this awesome stuff from Bliss, its the Foot Patrol - OMG, can I say good. As you can see, they have a range of yumminess for the discerning woman who loves to feel good!
Once I get this stuff on my foot, I use the socks that comes with this package "see, its on her hand" and I sit there with my foot propped up for about 10-15 minutes. After which, I use a warmed towel and gently wipe the lotion off.
I select my favorite OPI color - depending on my mood, use a top coat and also a base coat and voila! I'm done!!! Smoochable toes...

so, what's your summertime pedi ritual?

Happy Monday - Talk about Surrealism....

Happy Monday bloggy world! I feel like I've been gone on a vacation and now I'm back to the grind of it all. In reality, I didn't go anywhere, and work is at the top of my list for the next few months. Thanks to all my listeners for participating in the week long giveaways and welcome to all my new listeners.

Today, I felt that I should share something with you that gave me much to laugh about - in amazement nonetheless, when I saw it. While browsing online for a few art prints for myself, I visited artist Gregor Collienne's photographic studio. Wow!! his photos are a mix of surrealism + humour. Most of these photos show impossible situations merged together in an entertaining manner and you will love them!!

Don't forget that the giveaways go until this week when the winners will be announced. That means you are still able to enter the giveaways until it closes. ENTER HERE
