You guys are amazing -- after reading through your comments on yesterday's post, I am very excited and VERY motivated! What I have noticed with myself is that I respond very well to extreme gruelling exercise that is led by really bossy personal trainers. So, yesterday after talking to a friend, she recommended this group that is local and they whip you into shape, not the cute way but the old fashioned military way.
ENTER: The SEAL Physical Training Camp. And by the way, I don't mean seal as in the water gliding mammal, or the hunky man who happens to be married to Heidi Klum. I mean SEAL as in Navy Seals. These group of guys are ex-military commando, tough, drill sergeants!!! The first thought in my head is.... Sign me up please!! They have a 2 week, 5 days a week, daily hour and a half long programs begining at 5am and takes you literally through the sand, mud, and up the hill and back!! When I found them HERE, I was beaming. The next class is September 13th, so that gives me plenty of time to get a routine going so I can toughen up and say my HOOYAHS come September!!
have you guys ever tried any classes similar to this?
Have a GREAT weekend and enjoy the sun!!!
I've never taken a class like this, but a few friends of mine have and they say it's awesome. Good luck! I need to get motivated, as well!!

ReplyDeleteYour going hard core -- good idea taking the extra time to prep before the class.
ReplyDeleteI'd be afraid of throwing up from exhaustion, but boot camp for your body really does work wonders!
this is so hard! Wow... so you should be able to make it through an hour of yoga no problem!!!

That sounds scary but AWESOME! I can't wait to hear all about it. I've never done any exercising in the mud, but I have done many boot camp classes. I like them, but I always go back to yoga as my favorite form of strength training. I do like to mix it up with a boot camp class every once in a while. Keep us posted on how it goes!
