And We Return To Regular Programming.................

Hi Everyone!!! Hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend - (I know, I know, I am late), but in my defense my weekend started last Thursday very unexpectedly and ended on Tuesday. Enter: My Day Job!! With upcoming events and everyday requests, I am a few days behind the curve ball.

It's not normally me to take a break from many things, especially since I only just started blogging...but I had to take a few moments to chill with Mr. X and my mom who visited for the holiday. So, here's a little recap of what my weekend included:

I chilled by the beach for the day - enjoying the weather and the very scenic view.....

the bolivar lighthouse

dolphin statute on the beach walk

the historic district

I had the best desserts

and Italian ice cream - the pistachio was by far my fave!

we enjoyed the fireworks at night by the beach which was amazing ......

AND..............I spent lots of QT with my Mr. X....
the most notable of which included sharing beer and chicken wings with him!!!

Did you have a great 4th?

  2. Sounds like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing a bit with your readers - dipped twinkies! Oh my goodness! =) The Italian ice cream looks delicious. Glad you're back. Enjoy your Wednesday - I can't believe we're at the beginning of the week already, but I guess when you have a long weekend that will help. =)

  6. It looks like the perfect 4th of July weekend! Thanks for stopping by yesterday and for the link to your post. It was really helpful - especially the bit about FB. I've been feeling pressured to sign up but didn't really get why. You helped clarify that so thank you!

  11. That sounds wonderful! I wish my 4th was that good. I worked 8 hours (dragged Hubs along with me) then hung out with some friends. Hanging out with friends wasn't as fun as I'd hoped.

    Glad yours was great!
