it's Saturday and what do I want to do? Pick up a great book and grab my iced coffee, compliments of Starbucks and get to reading! (actually, not really - I would prefer to sleep my day away, only turning to grab a long glass of iced tea when I feel thirsty, but let's be honest, I have been conditioned to feel like there is so much to do, and so little time to do it), so back to reading/blogging/working/cleaning etc. I go! Today, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite "happy books" - books that make me smile and fantasize about shopping, living glamorously and high tea! maybe when I am done reading my current read, I will do a review of all these books!
bergdorf blondes by plum sykes (currently reading)
one fifth avenue by candace bushnell
shoe addicts anonymous by beth harbison
twenties girl by sophie kinsella
sweet love by sarah strohmeyer
falling out of fashion by karen yampolsky
heart of the matter by emily giffin
let's face it, light hearted reading is good for the soul - and I love books that are just that, books good for the soul and for a nice saturday, coffee reading moment! what is your saturday guilty pleasure?
I definitely miss reading for fun since I have been in school. I will definitely add these to my reading list though! My Saturday guilty pleasure is napping:)

These look like such great summer reads! Thanks for this list!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I have to say I am thrilled that you stopped by my blog because it helped me to find your blog. Loving it! The images along the beach - oh, so aching to see some salty water right about now and the books you included on this list, while I have only read a few, I am thrilled that you shared because with it being summer, I'm always looking for a few light reads. Thank you and again for stopping by. I will be back!
