The challenger Update - Food and Exercise Journal Entry - 5/18

The Challenger Update for Tuesday, May 18, 2010 - 2 DAYS DOWN - 58 TO GO....

I must say that everyone is off to a great start and while some seem to be leading the pack, I say strap up those shoes and tighten those belts, because in this race - only the strong will survive.

Samantha
Breakfast: Honey oats cereal w/ soy milk
Snack# 1: Yogurt parfait
Lunch: Fried Chicken
Snack #2: N/A
Dinner: Chicken Southwest Salad

Workout: 30 mins Jillian 30-day Shred

Danielle
Breakfast: 1 cup of prunes and veggies
Snack #1: 1 cookie
Lunch: Veggie Sandwich
Snack #2: Bag of Chips
Dinner: Steamed veggies w/ Chicken

Workout: AM – Kickboxing | PM – Jog 3 Miles

Natasha
Breakfast: 1 Bowl of Special K cereal w/ 1 cup of strawberries
Snack #1: Sun Chips
Lunch: ¼ cup of potato salad, ¼ cup of macaroni and cheese, chicken stir-fry and water
Snack #2: Klondike Bar
Dinner: Low fat turkey meatballs w/ linguine salad and watermelon juice/ water

Workout: 32 mins. on treadmill w/ weights and abs

Breakfast: Protein Shake w/ coffee and skim milk
Snack #1: 1 pear and carrots
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad
Snack #2: Vegetable Chips | Coffee w/ soy milk | Sweet Potato Cookie Bar
Dinner: Boiled Shrimp/ salad w/ light dressing and a 90-calorie beer | Greek yogurt w/ honey

Workout: Walk for 30 minutes

Melissa
Breakfast: Blueberry Oatmeal Cereal
Snack #1: N/A
Lunch: Noodle Soup
Snack #2: N/A
Dinner: Chicken w/ veggie Asian style w/ rice, turkey meatballs, water and salad

Workout: Not Applicable

Tara
Breakfast: Protein Shake | Cup of Strawberries
Snack #1: String Cheese and peanut butter w/ crackers
Lunch: Lean Cuisine Penne Pasta and Meatballs
Snack #2: Sweet Potato Cookies (4) | Atkins Snack Bar
Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad

Workout: Run for 3.1 miles
